Gordon Giltrap was born in Kent in 1948 and was raised in SE London. His mother bought him his first guitar when he was twelve and by the age of fourteen Gordon was playing in a band. Gordon's music is a unigue acoustic sound and his guitar technique is very well respected throughout the industry. His contempories include Bert Jansch, John Renbourn, John Martyn, Roy Harper and Al Stewart.
